July 24th, 2020 - D'Arcy Burke died today in his Chromag shirt, with his parents and soulmate by his side. One day, we will gather with our hundreds of hearts together. Thank you so much for all the great winters on Whistler, it certainly wasn’t the same without you last season. You’re a stronger leader than you let on, the mentorship and guidance provided over the years has been invaluable, greatly appreciated.

Already missing the eclectic lunchroom conversation, the AlpineShop swagger of a man with a master’s degree in taming mountains and herding Cats.

Though we‘ll never see eye to eye over the sticks and wheel debate, you’ll always be an inspiration.

You’re a great man D’Arcy Burke.
